I've seen this in my own life, in a smaller way. When I write about the good in people, I get less "hits" than when I write about bad stuff. BUT.... I am a naturally optimistic person and I don't WANT to write mostly doom and gloom. So I guess I'll just earn less money and I am OK with that. For me, money is not my top priority. If it was, I would have gone to med school like my Indian mom wanted me to. But I want to do what makes me happy. So... yeah.
