I've shared bathrooms with trans women and never had an issue, and I've donated time teaching art classes to trans high school kids and spoken up for them because they were bullied. I am NOT anti-trans.

HOWEVER - I am NOT OK with trans women exposing their d*cks in women's restrooms and locker rooms. This is what has caused complaints, not normal female behavior. Normal women (both trans and biological) do not expose themselves in bathrooms. This is one reason I've never been uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with a trans person - because they acted like a woman and didn't expose their d*cks.

Some women (including trans women) have been sexually abused. Many are uncomfortable seeing a strange man's anatomy. Certainly women from many cultures are very uncomfortable with this.

What about their rights? In India, women in some places still poop outside because women get raped in public bathrooms. By people with d*cks.

I am not sure if JK Rowling crossed a line or not because I haven't read everything she's posted, but I consider myself a classic liberal and I don't want to see strange d*cks in public places.

I have no problems sharing a bathroom with normal women (both trans and not) but I do have a problem sharing it with a predator. When someone shows off his d*ck in a woman's bathroom or locker room, he can make women (both trans women and non-trans women) feel threatened. It's a power play and bullying and it's not OK. Women (both trans and not) have the right to d*ckless spaces.
