Loving Myself Might Key To Beating Cancer

Because it is taking a huge amount of energy

Everyday that I fight the cancer that invaded my body again in April of 2022, I love myself.

I am fighting for my life.

I am doing this not because I fear death, but because I want to fully live my life, and I believe that life is worth living.

Maybe it seems a little selfish, but ultimately — if we want to live, we must love ourselves enough to fight for ourselves.

When I was younger, I didn’t always understand this. And there were times I didn’t fight when I should have.

But as I’ve grown and matured — I have become comfortable in myself. I accept and love myself despite my flaws and imperfections. Which, as you can see from the selfie I took this morning, are numerous. And that’s just the outside! LOL

Thank God you can’t see how flawed I am on the inside!

But you don’t have to be perfect to love yourself.

You do have to be honest with yourself.

You have to love yourself flaws and all. This is only possible if you really understand yourself.

It is actually the least selfish thing in the world, because, when you truly love yourself, only then can…
