My AC Guy Rescheduled At The Last Minute
You know what? Life happens.
My AC guy was supposed to come by this morning. I set my alarm to make sure I was up since I had chemo yesterday and that often makes me sleep in. He was scheduled to be here at 9 but at 9:45 he still wasn’t here. No problem, I was still sipping my coffee, but I was concerned so I called him.
After all, I live in Texas and AC is sorta important during the summer. We have a “Hotter Than Hell” bike race and Daniel Boone supposedly said “Y’all go to hell, I’m going to Texas.”
So yeah, making sure I have a working system is sorta important to me.
No one picked up the phone when I called, so I sent an email.
His daughter saw my email and called. She told me that she had tried to call me earlier that morning but they only had my old number so hadn’t been able to talk to me. Fortunately she saw my email which included both my address and new number.
Her mother (my AC guy’s wife) had been taken in for emergency surgery. He was in the hospital with her and the daughter’s husband was driving here there while she called customers to let them…
