My Blood Markers Normal!!!!

Cancer has disappeared, at least for now…

I was diagnosed with a metastatic brain tumor in April of 2020. I also had lung and liver cancer.

I went through brain surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. I have outstanding medical bills now because, well, that’s the way it works. Cancer is one of the more expensive diseases you can have to deal with.

However, the real story — I was only given 6 months to live. And my surgeon assumed I would be in hospice care for the last part of it.

Instead… I recently had normal blood markers for a metric they have been tracking since I started treatment.

Yesterday morning, the blood work showed that my markers were in the normal range. A little bit on the high side, but firmly within the normal band. The one that normal people, without cancer, live in.

To say I was thrilled — understatement.

To say my mother was thrilled? Severe understatement.

There have been several treatment modalities, nutritional and other therapeutic things I’ve been trying throughout this process.

Now that the results have come back so well — I’m not slacking off. If anything, I am doubling down.
