My ex-husband did more of the housework than I did. I did more of the yard work because I liked being outdoors, but overall, he did more around the house.

I knew all this about him because, when we were dating, I noticed how clean he and his apartment were. He also enjoyed cooking and was very good at it, so we split that task - one of us would cook and the other handled clean up.

After our divorce, when I started dating - anyone who was slovenly or who did not keep his place reasonably clean was dropped.
