My parents are from India. I grew up in NYC. I can say that, even though I’m an American, I’ve experienced racism and discrimination. I can also say that I know blacks have it even worse. That being said — I’ve also seen blacks discriminate against whites. And I don’t like that one bit.

Why? Because I don’t care how hard you’ve had it, that doesn’t give you the right to turn around and attack someone else.

We should be trying to make the world a better place. That means we rise above the racism and the petty hatreds.

I want to live in a fair and just society where skin color really is irrelevant. I would like to see a fair and level playing field for everyone — white, brown, black, etc. And dividing people based on skin color is not going to make that a reality.
