Not sure I buy the premise of this article.

I saw recent video of New Yorkers playing basketball in a park and working out using metal weight equipment. Yesterday there was video of mostly African American youth in the city congregating to watch a guy do donuts in a truck. And of course there was footage of crowds of New Yorkers watching the medical ship dock.

Meanwhile, I live in Texas. Since March 8th, my church has not had services — instead, they host an online service for members and we’ve been using Zoom for small groups. At the local stores, they take the CDC guidelines very seriously. While I’ve seen only a few people wearing masks, everyone has been keeping distance.

The reality is that there are idiots everywhere, it’s not hard to find them in all shapes and sizes.
