Of course it’s not OK for one person to ruin someone else’s life. However, we weren’t talking about that, we were talking about rape, since that was the subject of the story.

BTW, rape is not just a woman’s issue. Men get raped too. In fact, I wrote an article about it, in which I pointed out that it should not be OK to mock men’s pain when they are raped in prison or in the military. They are even less likely to come forward than women.

What I find appalling is that you blame the writer of the story for her rape. No man (or woman) is entitled to force themselves on someone else. I also find it interesting that you accuse me of a straw man argument when you are the one actually engaging in such…
