OK, just finished the article... bookmarked the author as someone to follow. I agree with what he is saying for the most part.

I recall Eisenhower warned us about the military/industrial complex, and I was against our involvement in the Ukraine from the beginning - not because I am pro-Putin, but because I am anti-war. We cannot afford a nuclear conflict.
