OK. Thanks for sharing your viewpoint. I think however you have not correctly read what I wrote.

I made it very clear - I do not want to cause these parents more suffering. In fact, that is the reason I did NOT put down all the details. If I put down the link that shares all the details, in that article the parents are interviewed and they share the strategies they tried. I could share the link but that I think it's more important to protect their privacy since they have lost their child.

My motive for writing this was to hopefully get people thinking so that parents can hopefully protect their children better. I think relying on the schools to do it is not working. Of course, this is based on my own experience, that of my friends, and other articles I've read.

But if people think the public schools do an adequate job of protecting children...

If even one person reads this and intervenes in the life of a child in danger, then this article will have done a good thing. That is why I wrote this.

Feel free to disagree. You have that right. I'm a big believer in free speech and as long as you are respectful (which you have been) I don't censor.
