Once she was an adult, she should have just left. No reason to kill her parents. If she had a job (which it seems like she did) why the heck didn't she live on her own and cut off contact with her parents? Maybe they were horrible, controlling people, but that doesn't mean it's OK to murder them. Just get away and make your own life apart from them.
