Once upon a time, when reliable birth control didn't exist, if two people had sex and the woman got pregnant, then of course the man was held responsible. Now there are safe, reliable ways to prevent pregnancy and so men should have a choice. Accidents still happen, however.

If she chooses not to have an abortion for religious reasons or because she wants the baby, then that is her choice, but she doesn't have the right to force him to be a father. However, if he wants to be part of the child's life, then he needs to help raise the child. JMHO. In a perfect world we wouldn't have messy situations but stuff happens, and even women who are very pro-choice may decide to carry a baby to term when faced with the reality.

One thing that I am totally against, however, is LYING about using birth control.
