One thing I will say - despite the effort, female friends are worth it. I was diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer in April of 2021 and my close female friends have been amazingly supportive and helpful.

When women love, they love completely but they also are more vulnerable - so that is why they can also get hurt more easily.

All that being said - we are also emotionally resilient.

For myself, the cancer also revealed a few people I didn't want in my life... it's OK to let people go as long as we are not mean about it.
