I was in my 30s when I first got cancer. I was given 6 months to live by my oncologist.

Instead of accepting this prognosis, I changed my life and so I continued to have a life.

Changes included a major overhaul of my diet.

My husband made me fresh juice every day, and we started to eat only home-cooked, organic foods. This included home-made sauerkraut and sprouted beans and grains.

And we switched to raw milk.

I realize that this seems crazy to a lot of people.

However, both my husband and I had some familiarity with raw milk.

My husband’s grandfather owned a small dairy farm, and he remembered visiting as a boy and drinking fresh raw milk. He told me how the barn cats waited expectantly when his grandfather milked the cows because they knew he would squirt some in their direction. My husband found it hilarious how those cats caught the milk in the air!
