Humane Society frees 4,000 dogs from research breeding facility

Beagles are friendly, curious, and gentle creatures. They love people. They are super affectionate and loving. Because they are so docile, researchers use them for experiments, as they are easy to control. They want to please.

Researchers reward their sweet nature by torturing them.

Yet there are groups and people who want to stop the abuse.

Recently, the Humane Society has been working to save 4,000 dogs. Puppies and their mothers who were living in a breeding facility. Once weaned, the puppies would have been sent to research facilities where these social beings would have lived in sad isolation. The poor mother dogs would be bred over and over again.

Here are a couple of videos. They don’t show the torture and abuse. Instead, they show rescued, happy puppies and mother dogs.
