Thank you for sharing this. I am a Christian, but I agree with you. There is a big difference between sharing one’s faith from the heart vs. doing it as a calculated act. The first is genuine and loving, the second is the kind of thing the Pharisees did. To me, being a Christian is more about having a relationship with Christ than about being part of an organization.

I am not a vegan or vegetarian, though I eat many vegan meals. I probably only eat meat 2 meals a week. I do take a great deal of care to only buy pastured animal products and I donate to organizations that fight for humane treatment of animals.

Part of the reason I am not vegan — I did it for a couple of years and had some health issues. So, at least for me, I can’t do it all the time. But I love animals and hate the fact that so many suffer in factory farms.
