Thanks for engaging in a polite discusson. We can agree to disagree without being uncivil.

The reason I think of male vs female biology as such a big factor, over and above normal variations in height and weight, is the effect of testosterone.

Again if you like I can provide journal articles based on actual hard science that shows the extreme impact for this.

I don't see any reason to not have a third category for trans athletes; also there are many sports where men and women can and do compete. There is a reason however, that certain sports have been separated into male and female categories. AGain, if you have scientific data that backs you up. please provide it and I will be happy to be proven wrong.

As someone who has a science background - over time many scientific facts have been disproven so perhaps this is also the case with trans sports, but there needs to be hard science behind it. Like double blind studies of sufficient sample size.
