HOWEVER, almost every one I know personally had their premiums go up due to the ACA. Why could we not have gotten you coverage without having premiums go up for most people?

BTW, if we had stuck with the way medicine worked once upon a time, most people paid a lot less for medical care. Doctors also made a lot less back then, so if someone went into medicine it was because they actually wanted to help patients, not find a way to make a lot of money.
