It's always good to have real data. However, one point I was making - women used to be even safer. That has been changing lately in some places. In particular areas, murder rates have spiked.

What is the source of your data? I am sure you are giving good numbers, but any time you provide data, it's good to also give the source so people can look up the number for themselves. :-)
