Thanks! Unlike a lot of people on here, I don’t reflexively hate Trump.

For example, people say he is a racist. But I grew up in NYC, Trump was in the headlines all the time when I was growing up, and no one ever thought he was a racist. It was only after he became a GOP candidate that all of a sudden his racism was discovered.

I don’t like the guy, but I never liked him. I remember the first time I visited Trump Tower thinking what a gaudy mess it was. I much prefer the understated elegance of the Park Plaza, for example.

But whether you like him or not, Trump is authentically himself. I think that appeals to many voters.

At any rate, I have many friends who voted for Trump. They are not racists, misogynists, etc. I may not agree with them, but they are my friends and we can agree to disagree.
