crying like that seems emotionally manipulative. Not saying they are doing it on purpose, though.
OTOH, it's not really fair of you to say "I spent 10 hours doing X for you so you need to spend 10 hours doing Y for me."
Healthy relationships are not so transactional. At least, not in my opinion. You are free to disagree with me. Like I said, this is just my opinion and you are free to ignore it.
One thing to consider - most men I know would rather fix things then have long conversations about her feelings. But both are acts of love. If she provides more emotional support, that also counts...
Finally, you are allowed to say "no". If she asks you to fix something and you don't want to - you are allowed to say "no". You can offer to call a handyman for her instead or just have her do it, assuming you guys can afford it.
