The case of Betty and Dan makes a good case for pre-nups and against no-fault divorce. As the adulterer, Dan would have been penalized under the old laws. And if Betty was going to work to support Dan through law school, etc., then a pre-nup would have helped protect her interests. Too often women blindly trust men.
