The problem is the cruelty. The engineered chickens grow so fast their hearts can’t keep up, their legs sometimes can’t support them right before they are slaughtered, etc. I think it’s incredibly cruel what the chickens suffer.

I don’t have a problem with meat, I have a problem with cruelty. Eating organic pastured chicken means we spend more to eat less meat which sounds bad, except it’s actually healthier for us too. Populations that live the longest and are the healthiest are the ones who eat this way. Plus it’s better for the environment and not cruel to the animals.
