There are communist countries. Why is it that, when they can, many more people try to leave those places than try to enter? In East Berlin, they had a wall to keep people IN. In the United States, however, they were trying to build a wall to keep people OUT. How many S. Koreans want to move to N. Korea vs. the other way around? Just asking...
BTW, here in the US, I notice it costs a lot less to get a U-Haul TO California than FROM California to, say, Texas. Why is that? It's because of the supply/demand curves, which for some reason many so-called educated people don't understand...
