this is one reason I find it troubling that we allow 18 year olds to join the military and we draft them. their brains are not fully developed and so it's easy for them to be used as cannon fodder. As someone who would prefer we not kill our young people to line the pockets of older people, which seems to be the real reason for most modern wars...
