This is really sobering.

I think that when men abuse women we take it more seriously because men generally are stronger than women and so can do more damage. That being said, abuse is never OK, no matter who does it.

This is also one reason I hate the court of public opinion. There is a reason we have lawyers, juries and so on instead of just lynching people. Because we don’t want mobs running on emotion, we want rational people who can sift through actual evidence.

Anyway, I am so sorry for Depp.
