This is such an astute article but it also made me so very sad.

I could not imagine being unable to help my mother in that situation, and I have metastatic lung and brain cancer, so at this point, I use a rollater to get around. But I would still be able to help my mother if I had to, I just would be super careful about it, take it slow, and sit and rest if I needed to. That is what I did when, during a break in my treatment, I took a trip on Amtrak. That is something I had never done before, and since I don't know how long I have....
