I'm a Christian and I love to play Dominion, love to read fantasy... and I believe in rational, platonic friendships between men and women as well. I mean, Jesus had women friends that he loved and visited with.

If you look at the life of Christ - He was so natural and real. He called out the truth and He hated hypocrites. He treated His Christian women friends like beloved sisters and intelligent human beings.

I suspect a lot of the role-playing that occurs in the hard core fundamental places comes from sexual places - and that's fine if they will just admit that it's what turns them on. I mean, some women (and men) like being spanked, as an example. So they make up these elaborate rules...

Frankly the whole Duggar thing creeps me out. And, again, I'm hard core Christian and I have friends who have 4 or 6 kids and homeschool... but the parents in each case actually make the money to support their kids. They're actual responsible parents, not idiots. It IS possible for someone to be spiritual and listen to God while also keeping the brain and common sense turned on.

And, yeah, I believe in science too.

And I believe in jail time for Josh Duggar. How the heck is he still walking free and abusing women?
