this will not be a popular response but... when more people believed in God I think they behaved better. Whatever the religion - Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism - I think people who have a moral and spiritual compass are often more patient and kinder, at least outwardly. They may secretly hate your guts but they try to not show it.
