To be fair, the Boomers USED to travel like Gen Z. They're the ones who gave us Easy Rider and the Summer of Love. They used to hitchhike across Europe or go to ashrams in India. These memes have more to do with the age of the traveler than the generation.

I'm almost a Boomer and I typically go through Air BnB, pack light (I spent 10 days in London with an overnight bag) and ride local buses and eat at local dives. But I do tend to wake up to see the sunrise on the beach... mostly because I'm too excited to sleep in when I'm in a new place. :)
