To be honest, speaking as a non-black woman - I would love it if black women were simply given the same respect and appreciation as any other human being. I am really fed up with the double standards I have seen.

For example, It pi**es me off that black women are less likely to get necessary medical care and pain assistance. I also hate the stereotype of "strong black woman" because of the added burdens that are implied.

I could go on and on. As a woman of color myself, I've had to deal with some unpleasantness, but I've seen how it's been even worse for some of my black friends. It's really unacceptable. Or it should be.
