Totally agree with you. There are plenty of black women (and Latinas, and Asians) who are smart, fun, beautiful, etc.

One thing I will say — sometimes black women don’t want to date outside their race. I once shared an office with this lady from Dominica. She was GORGEOUS. I knew several white men who seriously wanted her. I mentioned one time why she didn’t date a particular guy who I thought would have been a good match. She was like, “I can’t bring him home to my mother, he’s not black.”

So sometimes white men are worried about asking a black woman out because of that… one reason I like meetups and other group activities instead of just picking people up. YOu can get over those kinds of prejudices.

In this day and age, race should be a non-issue when it comes to dating, IMHO. And Desi men need to get over it and be more open to dating women of color.
