What a horrible incident!!!!

Did the idiot guards not see his hospital band??? And he went to ask for help - what the heck?

There were power hungry bullies who decided to violate a weak and sick person. What kind of monster does that????

What makes it worse - from the photo - were some of the guards black??

I hope they were or are fired and I hope the daughter wins the case (I can't see how she won't). It won't bring her father back but maybe it will prevent others from acting like a**es.

If they suspected something, they could have asked a few questions and then offered to help the disoriented person find his vehicle. If the man had a key that worked... then they know he's telling the truth. Or, offer to help call a family member to take him home, since it might not be safe for him to drive if he was disoriented. Hospitals are supposed to help sick people, after all.

Instead, they tortured a sick man.

BTW black people as well as immigrants and the poor are routinely treated badly by hospitals. I have had black frends not given the pain killers prescribed by their doctors by hospital staff. REally made me angry.
