What a lot of people don't realize - in most of Europe, abortion is limited to between 12 and 14 weeks, depending on the country. This is what people voted for.

Also, getting rid of Roe v. Wade does not outlaw abortion at the federal level. It gives the decision to the states. If the states actually let voters decide - in most cases, we'd end up with laws similar to those in Europe.
