What If China Provides Additional Support to Russia?
How would that affect the conflict in the Ukraine?

According to Al-Jazeera, President Biden told Chinese President Xi Jinping that it would be a “gigantic mistake” to ignore sanctions imposed against Russia after it invaded Ukraine. Apparently he had this conversation shortly after that event.
However, China has been showing support for Russia. Part of this is due to economic motivations — Russia is now selling fuel to China instead of to Europe. It has also become an alternative market for other Russian goods.
While other Asian countries such as India are also not joining in the sanctions, China’s support of Russia seems more assertive.
Also according to Al-Jazeera, during a visit to China, a top Russian official stated that a top policy goal of the Kremlin is to beef up ties with Beijing. He stated that Russian foreign policy was focused on strengthening a comprehensive partnership between the two nations.
