you advocated for your child. You did the right thing. you are the parent. stand up for yourself and your child.

I would tell your wife exactly what happened. tell her that the two main people who must agree re. the children are mom and dad. this doesn't mean grandma can't say something, but the final word belongs to mom and dad as co-parents.
