You misinterpret what I said. Either that or you didn't actually read the article and just had a knee-jerk response. Or you have reading comprehension issues. Your choice.
I never said women should look for high earning partners. What I said is that if a man wants a woman to move in with him and pay half the bills - that is fair, but only if he also does half the work in the relationship.
If a man wants her to pay half of expenses and also do most of the housework, most of the child care, provide most of the emotional support, etc., then that is an unfair arrangement.
The man in question could be a low-earning Medium writer or a high-earning CEO - it doesn't matter.
