You need to ask her why she is refusing to see additional doctors. Maybe the reason is FEAR. Maybe she is afraid of what she might find out.

For many women, it’s important to be able to talk about how they feel without having someone try to push a solution on them. If you can’t provide this for your wife (and it’s OK to admit it if this is not your skill set) then encourage her to go to a therapist or talk to a close friend or her mom or a pastor — really, someone with whom she can talk openly about her fears and whatever else is going on.

Be honest with her and tell her what you need from her in order to be able to support her through her illness. Make sure that you get the support you need as well.
